Coffee With Friends

I have another card for you.  Enjoying the great outdoors with a cup of coffee.  Can it get any better?

Playing with few more challenges: Tic Tac Toe (#230) opting for Autumn Colors – Mossy Meadow and Calypso Coral, using Dies and a Frame;  Happy Little Stampers (October) Dies; Alphabet (Letter N) Nature with the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday’s (#627) Sketch and sharing with Ellibelle’s Corner (October) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

COFFEE WITH FRIENDS – TTTC230 – HLS DIES Oct 2023 – ALPHABET Letter N – TSOT627 – ECC Oct 2023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Calypso Coral cardstock.
  • Film Strip Frame: (2½” x 5”) Mossy Meadow cardstock die cut with the (2⅛” x 1½”) Rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
  • Frame Insert: (2⅛” x 4⅞”) Petal Pink / Calypso Coral / Mossy Meadow Floral patterned piece of paper from the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Focal Image – Girl with Coffee: (2” x 3½”) Petal Pink cardstock scrap.
    • Using Mossy Meadow ink, the Girl with Coffee image from the Coffee With Friends stamp set was stamped.
    • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light Calypso Coral, Light Mossy Meadow and Bronze.
    • The image was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
  • Sentiment Label: Petal Pink cardstock scrap/
    • The sentiment, Try Again, also from the Coffee With Friends stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and die-cut with the Oval die from the All That Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. Both the Girl and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.

Taking a break in the beautiful outdoors, regrouping and starting again.  Great advice!

  1. What a wonderful card, and such a wise sentiment to go along. I like the combination of coral and green, especially those tiny flowers in the background. I also like how you created a whole scenery with no embellishments, except of the motif itself. It seems to me as if the young lady is sitting by a balcony door, looking into her garden, thinking about something. I hope she comes to a positive conclusion! Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

    Hugs, Veronika
