Welcome back! I have a lot on the go this coming week and I am working to get ahead on some of the challenge deadlines.
So, I am playing with Double Trouble (#145) partnering with Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#620) to Mix it Up.

I selected to use the colors suggested over at Facebook Colour INKspiration (#149) and searched through my scrap bins and items on my worktable not used on prior projects for Use Your Stuff (#490). I am also playing with Tic Tac Toe (#220) for choosing a birthday sentiment and patterned papers.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Moody Mauve cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Fresh Freesia Gingham Check patterned piece of paper from the retired Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper pack.
- Vertical Strip: (2¼” x 5”) Silver and White Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Silver & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Using a Brayer, Moody Mauve ink was added to color the strip.
- The Strip was torn on three edges exposing a white edge.
- Rectangle: (2¾” x 2”) Misty Moonlight Dotted patterned piece of paper from the retired 2020/2022 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
- The edge was also torn.
- Circle: (1⅝”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Inked & Tiled stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.
- The sentiment was die-cut with the (1⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- Decoration: Basic White cardstock scraps die-cut with the Paper Florist Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. Three Blueberry Bushel 2018/2020 In-Color Dots were added to the sentiment circle and two Moody Mauve 2023/2025 In-Color Dots were added to the flowers.
Letting the moody color scheme and the patterns be the star of the show.

Great idea to colour the paper with a brayer! The die cut flowers just lift the design as well
