Biggest Wish – By My Side

Welcome back!  Sunday afternoon playtime between the loads of laundry…I know chores…

Combining: Just Add Ink (#665) for a clean and simple card; Inspired By (#250) for a bold alphabet sentiment; and choosing to use the colors suggested by Color Throwdown (#755).  Simple Stamping, just Stamps, Ink and Paper.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Garden Green cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The two bold stamps: HELLO and FRIEND, from the Biggest Wish stamp set were stamped with Real Red ink.
  • The two cursive stamps: hello and friend, from the same stamp set were added with Daffodil Delight ink.
  • The sentiment, Life is better with friends like you, from the By My Side stamp set was added with Garden Green ink.
  • The Boy and Dog image, also from the By My Side stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The Boy and Dog were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Skin – Light Petal Pink and Ivory; Hair – Light Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight; Top – Light and Medium retired Wild Wasabi; Dog, Shorts and Shoes – Light and Dark Crumb Cake; and Dog’s Nose – Bronze.

…and the card is done…super CAS (clean and simple) and a great card for a friend.
