Day at the Farm – It’s a Good Day

Friday!  The weekend is almost here.  Do you have any fun plans?

I am playing with Double Trouble (#144) who has partnered up with Farm Quest (#33) for a fun theme and selecting the Global Design Project (#406) sketch which I flipped to better accommodate some of my choices.

Here is the result:

DAY AT THE FARM DSP – FUN ON WHEELS – DT144 – FQCB33 – GDP406

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gray Granite cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Weathered Wood patterned piece of paper from the retired Wood Textures Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Cross Strip: (2” x 5½”) Vellum
  • Accent Mat: (2⅝” x 4⅞”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (2½” x 4¾”) Farm Scene with Pigs patterned piece of paper from the retired Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Sentiment Label: (2⅜” x ½”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, It’s a Good Day…, from the Fun On Wheels stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and edged using a Sponge Dauber and Gray Granite ink.

A fun, all-purpose greeting card.

  1. Jolanda, you’ve got all the Double Trouble bases covered with your cute farm card! I really like how you used the vellum to “ground” your image piece onto the woodgrain piece!! Thank you for sharing your creativity once again with us – I always look forward to your creations!!! -Donna
