Timeless – Sympathy

Alas, I need one of these cards.  Never my favorite to make…

I chose the August Stampin’ Up! Simple Stamping Suggestion and picked the current Creative Colours (#100) selection.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • The sentiment, With Deepest Sympathy, from the Something Fancy stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.
• Ribbon Element: (6”) Misty Moonlight Ribbon – retired 2020/2022 In-Color Collection still in my stash.
• Accent Mat: (2⅜” x 3”) Pecan Pie cardstock stepped up and die-cut with the Stitched Rectangle die from the Nested Essential Dies set.
• Focal Image – Floral Scene: (1⅞” x 2⅝”) Petal Pink cardstock also die-cut with another of the Stitched Rectangle dies from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
  •  The Bubble Stem images (Long and Short) from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set were stamped with Petal Pink ink.
  • The Open Circle Collage image, from the same stamp set, was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.
  • The Floral Stem image, also from the same stamp set, was stamped with Pecan Pie ink.

Keeping the card clean and simple, the framed scene was added to the Background Panel over the Ribbon wrapped behind.

A subdued color palette suitable for a sympathy card.
