Timeless Arrangements – Floral Thanks

One more for the day!  Happy Sunday…

Playing with the Atlantic Hearts (#536) Sketch, the Color Throwdown (#754) Palette, and the Flower Challenge (#83) to include Spots or Stripes (I added both).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Flags: (1½” x 4¾”); (1¼” x 4½”); and (1¾” x 5¼”) strips of retired Neutrals and In-Color Designer Series Paper Collections.  Colors: Crumb Cake and Soft Succulent.
  • Each Strip was hand-flagged with Paper Snips.
• Circle Shape: Basic White and Crumb Cake scraps from my bin die-cut with the (3”) and (2½”) Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Floral Decoration: Basic White, Crumb Cake and soft Succulent cardstock scraps.
  • Using Floral and Leaf dies from the Around The Bend Dies set, the Flowers and Leaves were die-cut.
• Sentiment Label: (1¾” x ½”) Soft Succulent cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, thanks, from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  These colors look great together and the Floral arrangement came together nicely.
