Welcome back! CASE-ing another card from the Just Us Girls (#690) selection. Today’s card is a remake of Carol McFarland’s Fun Fold card for a single fold card. My take aways? Fold, Patterned Paper.

My theme choice was influenced by Jingle Belles (#2316) Neutral Noel. Additionally, I chose to play with Retro Rubber (#212) Anything Goes; and share with Time Out (#244); Stampin’ Up! Only (#332); and Creative Creases (#62).

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (6½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
- Inside Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla and Pecan Pie Gingham patterned piece of paper from the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper pack.
- The center of the panel was die-cut with the (2⅞” x 4½”) Countryside Corners Die and reserved for later use.
- Inside Blank Panel: Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the largest (3½” x 5”) Countryside Corners Die. I chose not to create a floating “double decker” pop-out for this card to have more room for writing a message.
- Front Side Fold Panel: (2” x 5¼”) Gingham patterned piece of paper.
- Frame: Pecan Pie cardstock die-cut with the (2⅞” x 4½”) and (2⅜” x 4”) Nested Countryside Corners dies.
- Focal Image Panel: Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the (2⅞” x 4½’) Countryside die.
- The Swirl image from the retired Stylish Christmas (circa 2018) stamp set was stamped with Crumb Cake ink.
- The Poinsettia image from the same stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink.
- The Poinsettia Leaves image again from the same stamp set were stamped with Copper Clay ink.
- The sentiment, Here’s to a Season…, from the retired First Frost (circa 2018) stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink.
- The Panel was adhered behind the cut Frame.
All elements were adhered to the card base. The Framed Image was added to the Front Side Fold Panel and the reserved cut Gingham Paper Piece was added in back to finish off the frame nicely. Amber Gems from the retired Leaf Label & Amber Gems Combo pack were added to the decorate the card.

A stylish neutral monochromatic Holiday card.

I did not create my card as a “double decker” pop out. That was cool but, I wanted more space to write a note.

This is such a unique color choice for a Christmas card. It makes the card look elegant and somewhat vintage. 🙂
