Botanical Wreath – Celebrate

Welcome back!  One more deadline for today…

Using materials that were still on my work table from the last few cards created, I am playing with Just Add Ink (#661) inspired by the wreath and using the Inspire Create (#147) sketch and choosing the Shopping Our Stash (#501) no stamping allowed theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Accent Strip: (5½” x 2¼”) Petal Pink cardstock.
• Cross Strip: (5½” x 1¾”) Small Leaf patterned piece of paper from the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper pack.
• Wreath Base: Calypso Coral cardstock die-cut with two of the Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.  Sizes: (2⅝”) and (2⅛”)
• Wreath Decoration: Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry cardstock scraps.
  • Using various dies from the Paper Florist Dies set, the Flowers and Leaves were created.
• Sentiment – Celebrate: Lost Lagoon cardstock scrap die-cut with the word: Celebrate from the Wanted To Say Dies set.

All elements were adhered in place to resemble the sketch.  The Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.  All colors were selected from the patterned paper. 

What a fun little card to create!  Suitable for celebrating any occasion.
