Earthen Textures – Thanks

You can tell that I was missing the Studio.  One last card for today…

Having a go at Festive Friday (#138) and mixing it up with Color Throwdown (#751) using the current TGIF (#429) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Copper Clay cardstock.
• Split Background: Recycled Kraft Envelope from the Kraft Note Cards and Envelopes pack.
  • The front of a damaged Kraft Envelope was trimmed to (3¾” x 5”).
  • Using Copper Clay ink, the Logo-Side of the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder was inked and the Envelope piece was then embossed.
  • The embossed and inked Envelope piece was then trimmed to three pieces. Sizes: (3¾” x 1”) and (3¾” x 2½”).
  • The pieces were adhered to the card front.
• Circle Element: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, thanks, from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink and then die-cut with the (1⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Decoration – Foliage: Brushed Metallics – Copper and Coastal Cabana cardstock scraps from my Paper Bins.
  • Using dies from the Earthen Textures Dies set, the Foliage was die-cut.
  • The Copper Leaves were tied together with a bit of the Gold Simply Elegant Trim, popped up with Dimensionals and arranged on the card front.
  • The Coastal Cabana Leaf was tucked in behind for a pop of color.

Completing the card, a few gold colored Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins were added.

Both elegant and earthy.  Such a nice Thank You card..
