Classic – He’s All That and more…

Must be Tuesday…this is the card I created for the new challenges at Cardz 4 Guyz (#324) and Hand Stamped Sentiments (#416). 

A great theme and a wonderful sketch…and keeping it simple, just like a classic…

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Accent Panel: (4” x 3¼”) Copper Clay cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4½” x 2¾”) Copper Clay and Crumb Cake Striation patterned piece of paper from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Circle: (2½”) Copper Clay cardstock, punched out with the retired (2½”) Circle Punch from the Accent Panel.
• Focal Image Circle: (2⅜”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • The Classic Car image from the He’s All That stamp set, the Car and the word Classic, was selectively inked with the Copper Clay Stampin’ Write Marker. 
  • Using one of the retired Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamps, I added Scattered Speckles with Copper Clay ink.
  • Using a Sponge Dauber, I inked the edges with Crumb Cake ink for a bit of antiquing.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A length of Naturals Wavy Trim was added around the Background Panel and the Stamped Circle was popped up with Dimensionals.
