Lots Of Love – Birthday Wishes

Happy Monday!  Having fun playing…

Today’s Challenges: The Card Concept (#194) for the colors; Inspired By (#236) for the subject, sketch and colors; Seize the Birthday (#260) for the theme and Critter Crazy (#74) for the animals.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiments, Love & Big Hugs and Birthday Wishes from the Sending Smiles stamp set were stamped with Bubble Bath and Boho Blue inks respectively.
• Triple Panel: (2¾” x 1¼”) Boho Blue, Bubble Bath and Smoky Slate cardstock.
  • The three panels were dry-embossed with the Cross-Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
• Focal Image – Elephant and Mouse: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Elephant and Mouse image from the retired Lots of Love stamp set was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
  • The Elephant and Mouse were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors: Light Smoky Slate, Bubble Bath and Boho Blue.
  • The Elephant and Mouse were fussy cut with Paper Snips.
• Sentiment Circle: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The word, Enjoy, from the retired Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped with Smoky Slate ink and punched out with the (¾”) Circle Punch.

All elements were arranged and adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. 

A sweet birthday card.
