You Are My Kind of Hero!

Hi, welcome back.  Working on a few more challenges trying to meet the deadline date.

Sketch: CAS Colors and Sketches Challenge (#434) and the CASology Cue Word Challenge (#394).

Here is the result:

CALLING ALL HEROES – LOVELY WISHES – CC&S434 – CASology394

Steps:

  • Using the Stamparatus Positioning Tool, the sentiment, You Are One of a Kind, from the retired Lovely Wishes stamp set was added to the right side of the Basic White cardstock background panel seven times with three truncated omitting You Are with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The panel was die-cut with the (3⅜” x 4¾”) Stitched Rectangle Die.
  •  Using the Cue Card Word literally, I stamped one of the Masks from the retired Calling All Heroes stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die-cut the image with the (1⅜”) circle die from the retired Stitched Shapes Dies set.
  • The Mask was popped up on the background panel and the panel was popped up on a Basic White card base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) with Dimensionals.

A very clean a simple card.

Who is your hero and would everyone know – or do they masquerade their goodness?

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!

  1. Just gorgeous Jolanda! I love that you highlighted your mask in the stitched circle and you made your background with the perfect sentiment. Thank you for sharing this beauty at CAS Colours and Sketches this week. Vicky x

  2. CAS perfection. This is such a perfect example of how black and white can shine on a design! The framed, simple main image really draws the eye in!
