Quite Curvy – Together

Today I created a card for the Freshly Made Sketch Challenge – FMS469.  I also chose to include several other Challenges:

I know that sounds like a mouth full…but even if only one challenge inspires you – GO FOR IT!

Let’s see what I made:

The Sketch has three cross label-type elements and a sentiment in between along with a shape.  I chose to stamp and die-cut the floral and leaf elements from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set and Curvy Dies Bundle.  I dry colored them with Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Old Olive Watercolor Pencils.  I also did a bit of fussy cutting to reduce the length of the design elements for a better fit.

The sentiment, We’re in this Together, from the Heal Your Heart Stamp Set suits both the Love theme and the Unite theme and was added to the Basic White panel.  The flowers and leaves were then adhered.  I then ran the entire panel through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  Keeping the card Clean and Simple, I affixed the embossed panel to a Basic White card base.

For my shape, I stamped, die-cut and colored two of the bird images from the Quite Curvy Bundle and popped them up over the leaf image.

The card is perfect for the Unite theme as is.  Together, we can face anything!

For the Love theme, I added a tiny sponged Melon Mambo heart between the birds suggesting: If we love each other, we can face anything as long as we do it together!
