The Right Triangle – You’re So Cool

Hi Everyone!  I am working with the Case-ing Tuesday #287 Challenge.

I tossed in a few other challenges:  TGIF – tgifc299 Product Spotlight: Using a Background stamp in a different way and the Color Throwdown – ctd626: a purple, a cream, and black.  I picked Highland Heather and Very Vanilla.

This is what I created…

THE RIGHT TRIANGLE – SWEET ICE CREAM – CASE-ING TUESDAY 287 – TGIFC299 – CTD626

I stamped a series of Triangles in Highland Heather on to Very Vanilla cardstock.  I filled in the open spaces created with another triangle stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black.  I matted this panel with Basic Black card stock.  The card base is Highland Heather and the contrasting panel is Very Vanilla that has been texturized with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.  I felt that the Dainty Diamond pattern mixed well with the Triangle Background design.

Since the pattern was graphic, I chose the sentiment, You’re So Cool, from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.  I thought the design I created with the triangle stamps was “cool”.

To add a little interest, I colored the Forever Greenery Open-Weave ribbon with the light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend and placed it to the left cutting diagonally to mimic the patterns.

A good card for a guy.  Don’t you think? Let me know if you like it.

Cheers, Jolanda.  Thank you for spending some of your time with me today.
