CASE-ING TUESDAY #284 Challenge
For today’s card, I chose to keep it all very simple as the Sketch was very straight forward.

Which stamp set to use? Which patterned paper to use? Which color to choose? Those are the questions I ask myself as I start to create a card. Having a sketch as a starting point is so helpful!
I am highlighting the new stamp set: ENJOY THE MOMENT in a different way. To gain more mileage from your stamp sets, highlight just what you want by using your Stampin’ Write Markers.
Keeping to my “simple” theme, I only wanted to use the phrases: ENJOY, SIMPLE THINGS and GOOD THINGS, from the sentiments in this set.

So far, so good! For the suggested patterned paper side panel, I opted for the Crumb Cake plaid from the soon to be retired Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. I dressed it up a bit by adding cross-hatch lines using a Stampin’ Write Marker and a ruler. Merry Merlot felt like a nice contrast color against the Crumb Cake. So, my accent color became Merry Merlot!
With the Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Marker, I added color to the phrases I wanted and stamped them on Very Vanilla card stock, punched them out with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and then added the simple little floral image from the Make A Difference stamp set in Soft Suede. The floral image was colored in with the Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. To complete the postage stamp, I added Faux Stitching along the edges with a ruler and the Crumb Cale Stampin’ Write Marker.
All the pieces were assembled and adhered to a Merry Merlot card base.
I like the simple “country” feel that this card evokes. Do you?
It is also my wish to you for 2021, Cheers, Jolanda
