Wrapped in Christmas – Mason Jars

Saturday’s Keep Stamping Challenge –  November 28th, 2020

International Calendar of Days…did you know that Monday, November 30th is Masan Jar Day?  Who knew?  Well, in honor of that interesting tidbit, the Keep Stamping theme selected was Mason Jars.

MERRY DAYS

WRAPPED IN CHRISTMAS – JAR OF LOVE – KEEPSTAMPING SATURDAY

For this card, I selected to use the retired stamp set: Jar of Love instead of our newer stamp set: Jar of Flowers.  This was mainly because I wanted the three sizes of jars to add visual interest.

Stamped in Smoky Slate, each jar was fussy cut.  A Shaded Spruce ribbon tied around the large jar and a sprig or two to support the flowers in Early Espresso and Soft Suede, a cap for the middle jar, and a festive Cherry Cobbler bow for the small jar.

To complete the scene, the Poinsettia from Four Season Floral, was stamped twice and colored with Stampin’ Blends in Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Just Jade with a hint of Mango Melody in the center and also fussy cut. The background wall is embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder and the table cloth is a strip from the Plaid Tidings DSP package.

The sentiments for the card and the jar decoration are from Wrapped in Christmas“It’s the most wonderful time of the year” is stamped in Shaded Spruce and matted in Shade Spruce, both die-cut with the Beautiful Boughs Dies label die.

Do you collect Mason Jars?  I have a few but not the painted ones like the inspiration photo. I like how this card turned out!
