Retro Christmas Coffee Card

Welcome back!  It’s the weekend and here’s to hoping you will find some time to be creative!

I have an interesting holiday card for you today.  Over at Jingle Belle’s (#2608), the theme is Vintage; Over at Inspired By (#383), the Café with the Retro Colors led me to Caffeinated Christmas (#52) and sharing with Krafty Chicks (#815) for their Christmas week.

Design choices were influenced by the Retro Rubber (#269) Wintry Tic Tac Toe board, choosing Sequins, Rhinestones and Dies for my FREE Space and loosely inspired by the current TGIF (#572) Sketch, shown for reference.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Summer Splash Splatter patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2026 In-Color Collection Designer Series paper pack.
• Accent Circle Rectangles: (5” x 1½”) Summer Splash and Pretty in Pink cardstocks die-cut with the Circles die from the from the Lovely Arrangements Dies set, an On-line Exclusive product.
• Modern Snowflake: Basic Black cardstock scraps die-cut with the Quasar die from the retired Tune In Dies set.
• Coffee Cups: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Coffee Cup Outline image from the retired Nothing’s Better Than stamp set (circa 2020) was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then the Coffee Cup In-Fill image was stamped with both Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash inks and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the retired Love You More Than Dies set.
• Sentiment – Merry Christmas: Basic Black cardstock scraps.
  • The words Merry and Christmas from the retired Word Wishes Dies set were die-cut.

All elements were adhered to the card base. The Coffee Cups were popped up with Dimensionals and several Black Sequins from the retired Peaceful Poppies Sequins pack and several Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a bit of Festive bling.

A fun card to put together…Ho, Ho, Ho!
