Lazy Daisy – Spring Celebration

Welcome back!  Yellow seems to be the color of the month…

Today I am playing with: Alphabet (Letter Y) for Yellow Flowers incorporating the Color Dare (#697) Shades of Yellow plus one – Green and the Colorful Options (#2604) Hello Spring theme and sharing with Beautiful Blossoms (#39) and their Yellow and Green Floral Arrangement Inspiration Photo.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
• Split Panels: (1¼” x 5¼”) Daffodil Delight cardstock dry-embossed with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product, for lovely floral texture.
• Accent Mat: (2⅜” x 2⅝”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (2¼” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Floral image from the Weekend Adventures stamp set, still available but now on the Last Chance List, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Flowers – Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and Greenery – Light and Dark Granny Apple Green.
• Sentiment Banner: Granny Apple Green cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Celebrate, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, also still available but on the Last Chance List, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then die-cut with the (2¾” x ⅝”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The matted Focal Panel and the Sentiment Banner were popped up with Dimensionals and a Basic White Baker’s Twine Bow was added to complete the card.

A lovely yellow Spring card!
