Christmas Smiles and Love

Hi again!  Time for a little Christmas Whimsy

Today I am playing with: Jingle Belles (#2607) with a theme of Whimsy; Critter Crazy (#109) always Animal related; and Can You Handle the Pressure (#260328) using Embossing Folders with a Kid Friendly twist.

Here is the result:

GREATEST PART OF CHRISTMAS – JB2607 – 2CCCB109 – CYHTP260328

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Accent Panel: (4¼” x 2¾”) Moody Mauve cardstock, retired, die-cut with the (2⅝” x 4”) Stitched Rectangle die from the retired Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies set.
    • The sentiment, Wishing you a Christmas of Smiles & Love that will last all year, from the retired Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • Focal Image – Pups & Snowman: Re-purposed Holiday card from my stash die-cut with the (3”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The whimsical Pups & Snowman image was popped up with Dimensionals.

A really cute Holiday card suitable for a child with nice texture.
