All The Good Things – Sending Love

Welcome back!  Happy Thursday…

Today, I have chose the color palette from Color Dare (#696) and the Sunday Stamps (#382) sketch for today’s card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Peach Pie cardstock die-cut with the (3½” x 4⅜”) Oval die from the retired Oval Collection Framelits Dies set and then dry-embossed with the retired Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder.
• Cross Strip: (4” x 1”) Old Olive Splatter patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2026 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack. This strip was added to loosely represent kelp.
• Shape – Oval: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Koi Fish from the retired All The Good Things stamp set were chosen.  The larger Fish was inked with Petal Pink and then Peach Pie ink was added (kissed) with a Sponge Dauber.  The smaller Fish was inked with Crushed Curry and then Flirty Flamingo was added with a Sponge Dauber.
  • The Koi Fish were then die-cut with the (3” x 4”) Oval die from the same Dies set.  Using the Sponge Dauber, the edges were inked with Flirty Flamingo.
• Sentiment Label: Old Olive cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Sending Love, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then trimmed to (1⅞” x ½”) cut on the diagonal.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Focal Oval and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to represent air bubbles.

A nice little card…
