Forever Florals – Best Day

Hi! Design Team Time for Tic Tac Toe (#289).  Eight possibilities and so much choice.

For the Board (#289), I selected the top left diagonal line, the elements: Spring, Dies and Coordinating Envelope.

My color choices were influenced by Color Dare (#695) and I opted for a clean and simple card for CAS on Friday (#330).

I am also sharing this card with TGIF (#569) for their Hello, Spring theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Die Cuts: Balmy Blue, Summer Splash, Flirty Flamingo, Timid Tiger and Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper (Striped pattern)
  • The Background Banners were die-cut with the Banner die from the Paradise Garden Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
    • The sentiment, Have The Best Day, from the Cutest Crew stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder on the top Banner.
  • The Flowers were die-cut with the Bloom and Leaf dies from the Forever Florals Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Envelope: (2¼” x 5¾”) Striped patterned piece of paper, again from the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper was trimmed to match the Envelope Flap.

All elements were adhered to the card base, and a few Basic White Moody Palette Glossy Dots, another On-Line Exclusive product, were added to complete the card.

A great little spring card…
