Thinking of You – Friendly Foliage

Hello there!  Design Time for this week’s Atlantic Hearts (#674) Sketch Challenge.

My design was influenced by the Inspired By (#380) Colors and Foliage Designs on the Eggs and Can You Handle The Pressure (#260314) Anything Goes using a complimentary Embossing Folder.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Strips: Splatter patterned pieces of paper from the 2025/2027 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper Pack (Cloud Cover), the 2025/2026 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper Pack (Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea Foam) and the 2025/2026 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper Pack (Old Olive). Sizes range from (3½”), (3¼”) and (3”) by (½”), (⅝”) and (¾”)
• Sentiment Strip: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thinking of you, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, another On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Old Olive ink.
  • The Strip was trimmed to (4½” x ⅝”), cut on the diagonal and the edges were colored with Old Olive ink applied with a Sponge Dauber.
• Decoration – Leaf Spray: Old Olive cardstock preciously die-cut (for another project and discarded) with the Leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Several Basic White, Cloud Cover and Old Olive Moody Palette Glossy Dots, again an On-Line Exclusive product, were added to complete the card.
