Impressions Abloom – Celebrate

Welcome back!  A brand-new week and we have a colorful explosion of flowers…

A clean and simple card, a favorite style, for CAS Colours & Sketches (#581) influenced by the Just Us Girls (#815) Mood Board and the Inspire Create (#212) Color suggestions.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Cut Shape: (3¼” x 3”) Basic Black cardstock die-cut on the edge with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Sentiment Flag: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The greeting, Celebrate, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then trimmed to (2” x ⅜”) and hand-flagged with Paper Snips.
• Decoration – Flowers: Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo and Bubble Bath cardstock scraps die-cut with the various Flower dies from the retired Impressions Abloom Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to reflect the sketch.

An explosion of Spring colors for a fun little clean and simple card.  Celebrate!  Such a great sentiment…there are so many occasions to celebrate.
