Welcome back! So glad you joined me…
Today, I am playing with: Color Dare (#693) for a Cherry Cobble and Pretty Peacock combination; Addicted to CAS (#303) for the Garden theme; and bringing my ideas together with the current Global Design Project (#538) Sketch which I flipped to the vertical orientation.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Floral image from the Flowers Fair background stamp, a new On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Using the (2⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, an area was selected and die-cut.
- The remaining Panel was cut on the diagonal and an approximate (⅛”) sliver was trimmed for the Split.
- Employing the Spotlight Technique, the die-cut Circle Floral images were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Small Blooms – Light Sweet Sorbet (R) and Light Cherry Cobbler; Large Blooms – Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler; and Leaves – Light Lost Lagoon with Light and Dark Pretty Peacock.
- Circle Accent Mat: (3” x 3”) Basic Black cardstock die-cut with the (2¾”) Circle die from the retired Framelits Circle Collection Dies set.
- Sentiment Blocks: Basic Black cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, To a fabulous friend, from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set, the January 2026 Exclusive Product of the month, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then cut apart and trimmed with Paper Snips.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the flipped sketch. The matted Floral Circle was matched to the background Florals and added in place.
Clean and simple…a favorite style for a nice friendship card.
