Beautifully Adorned in Gold

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday.  Hoping you are well and taking the opportunity to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Today, I am playing with: Shopping Our Stash (#568) for the color Gold and Festive Friday (#204) incorporating several of the suggested elements for a clean and simple styled card created for CAS on Friday (#329).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Gold Splattered Page patterned piece of paper from the retired Natural Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The right edge was hand torn and then inked with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
• Vertical Cross Strips: (¼” x 5¼”) and (⅜” x 5¼”) Gold Foiled Leaf patterned pieces of paper, also from the Natural Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shape: Flower & Leaf: Gold Foiled Vellum elements from the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack.

Choosing to highlight the gold accents and popping up the Flower with Dimensionals, this in an elegant card that can be used for many occasions.

Simple stamping at its best.  Just Ink and Paper!
