Friendly Foliage – Covered in Flowers

Hi again!  A brand-new week and I am sharing a little touch of Spring with you.

Playing with the Freshly Made (#725) Sketch and the AAA Cards (#309) One plus One Map for a clean and simple card featuring the new laser-cut Covered in Flowers Accents.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
  • Using the Wide-Tipped Water Painter Brush, Soft Sea Foam ink was picked up from a Clear Stamp Block and added for the background shape.
  • Once dry, the sentiment, Thinking of You, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Decoration – Flower: Element from the Covered in Flowers Accents pack, another On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Using the Medium-Tipped Water Painter Brush and Clear Stamp Blocks, Mossy Meadow ink was added to the Leaf and Stem and Melon Mambo ink was added to the Bloom.
  • Once dry, using a Journaling Pen, doodles were added to accent the Flower.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, for a nice clean and simple card.

Looking forward to using more of the Flower Accents. Adding a little touch of Spring color created a pretty focal point for this card.
