Celebrate Spring – Sending Love

Hi again!  I have a little more time today to play…

The challenges: CAS on Friday (#328), a clean and simple card with a “CUTE” theme; Colorful Options (#2602) for the Pink & Purple palette; Jan’s Paper Players (#774) Sketch which suited both a clean and simple styling and using Leftover bits and pieces found on my worktable for Little Red Wagon (#847).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Pink / Purple toned patterned piece of paper from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper pack.
• Horizontal Cross Strip: (3¾” x 1½”) Highland Heather Script patterned piece of paper from the retired 2019/2020 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper pack found in my scrap bin.
• Vertical Cross Strip: (1¾” x 3¼”) Pink Envelope Flap from a cut apart Envelope leftover from created projects, found in the Celebrate Spring February 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
• Cute Decoration – Bunny: A laser-cut element not yet used, also from the Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Kit.
• Sentiment Banner: Flirty Flamingo cardstock previously die-cut with the (2¾” x ⅝”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • The sentiment, Sending Love, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, and the Bunny and the Sentiment were both popped up with Dimensionals.

A sweet card, suitable for a baby shower, a child’s birthday, or anyone that loves plush animals…
