Fable Friends – A Gift For Baby

Design Team Time the Atlantic Hearts (#669) Sketch. 

My design choice was influenced by the Color Dare (#690) Palette to create a Baby card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiment, a gift for baby, from the retired Zoo Babies stamp set, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Long Strips: (5” x ⅜”) Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam and Balmy Blue Splatter patterned pieces of paper from the 2025/2026 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Short Strips: (3” x ⅜”) Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam and Balmy Blue cardstock scraps.
• Focal Panel: (2½” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the Large Postage Stamp die from the Beautiful Blooms Dies set, the Paper Pumpkin Add-On product for Quarter One 2026.
  • The Bunny image from the retired Fable Friends stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the background around the Bunny was colored with the Light Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The Bunny image was stamped again onto a Basic White cardstock scrap and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Bunny – Light Smoky Slate; Ears, Nose and Belly = Light Bubble Bath; Eyes and Buttons – Dark Balmy Blue; and Jacket – Light and Dark Lemin Lolly and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The colored Bunny was popped up with Dimensionals. 

Sweet soft colors for a sweet Baby card.
