Berry Blossoms – Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Hi again!  Popping in with a quick card for a challenge deadline.

Inspired By (#375) has a Berries theme…

I just needed to dig out a collection of Vintage papers from my stash.

Here is the result:

SHARING SWEET THOUGHTS – IB375

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (3⅝” x 4⅞”) Vintage Fruit patterned piece of paper dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a little more texture.
  • Sentiment Banner: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Sharing sweet thoughts, from the same titled retired stamp set, was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and then die-cut with the (2¾” x ⅝”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

Letting the patterned paper take center stage, all the elements were adhered to the card base.  A twirl of Linen Thread was added under the Sentiment, which was popped up with Dimensionals and several Antique Pearls were added for charm.

A pretty card…
