Christmas Special Delivery

Hi again!  Design Team Time for Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#552).  Where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired.  Today’s card can be found on page 23 of the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog.

Adding to my 2026 Holiday card collection, I chose to create a Christmas card and flipped the card in the mirror image.

Inspiration: Caffeinated Christmas (#50) always drink related; Jingle Belles (#2604) for the color Red; and sharing with Krafty Chicks (#807) for their Christmas Week.

Here is the result:

STAMP SET COLLAGE – CT552 – CCCC50 – JB2604 – KCC807

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shaded Spruce cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Cherry Cobbler / Shaded Spruce / Gold Plaid patterned piece of paper from the retired Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Sentiment Flag: Shaded Spruce cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Be Merry, from the retired Holiday Invitation stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then hand-flagged with Paper Snips.
  • Focal Panel: (6” x 6”) Vellum Specialty Paper, an On-Line Exclusive product, was die-cut with the Envelope die from the retired Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies set.
    • The front of the Envelope was stamped with the Air Mail and Cancelled Stamp images from the Special Delivery stamp set, found in the January 2026 Special Delivery Paper Pumpkin Kit, and the sentiment, Special Delivery, from the retired Tin of Tags stamp set, were all stamped with Versamark ink and then also heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
    • A (3⅞” x 2⅝”) Basic White cardstock piece was set inside the Envelope along with a smattering of retired Peaceful Poppies Sequins for a bit of Shaker fun.
  • Shape(s) – Coffee Cups: (5½” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • Two full Coffee Cup images and two partial Coffee Cup – Sleeve images from the retired Perfect Blend stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • Using the Poinsettia image from the retired Reason for the Season stamp set, the Poinsettias were added to the Sleeves, also with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • Using Stampin’ Blends Markers, the images were colored.  Colors chosen: Coffee Cup Lids – Light Smoky Slate; Coffee Cups – Light and Dark Crumb Cake; Sleeves: Light Wild Wheat (retired); Poinsettias – Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler, Light and Dark Shaded Spruce and Light Wild Wheat,
    • All pieces were fussy-cut with Paper Snips and the Sleeves were adhered in place.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the mirror image of the sketch.  The Envelope was added with Tear & Tape Adhesive and the Coffee Cups were popped up with Dimensionals.

A special delivery of your favorite coffee to be shared with a friend (me) to take a well-deserved break from all your holiday preparations.  Merry Christmas!
