Nature’s Symphony – Smile

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday.  A dreary day that requires a little sunshine and smiles…

Playing with the “Scrappy” Strip card sketch from Sunday Stamps (#379) and choosing the Creative Colour (#227) bright and happy palette.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (5⅛” x 3⅞”) Poppy Parade cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock.
• Scrap Strips: (½” x 3¾”) off-cuts from (1) Azure Afternoon Leaf patterned pieces of paper from the 2025/2026 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack; (2) Daffodil Delight Gingham patterned pieces of paper from the retired Floral Delight Designer Series Paper pack; and Poppy Parade Polka Dot patterned pieces of paper from the retired Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shape Accent Mat: (3½” x 2¼”) Poppy Parade Polka Dot patterned paper from the same paper pack die-cut with the (3¼” x 2”) Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Shape: (3¼” x 2”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiment, You make me smile, from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set was stamped with Poppy Parade ink and then die-cut with the (2⅞” x 1⅝”) Arch die, from the same dies set.
• Decoration – Flower: Using Paper Snips, the Azure Afternoon Flower from another patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2026 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper, was fussy-cut.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the Flower popped up with Dimensionals.

A fun and cheerful clean and simple card.
