Friendly Foliage – Thinking of You

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday…

A quick card for you today for the Freshly Made (#721) Sketch in A2 format and choosing the Stampin’ Up! Only (#393) Color suggestion.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Cross Strip: (2¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the new Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder.
• Decoration: (2½” x 3¾”) Night of Navy cardstock die-cut with Circle Block die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thinking of you, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Night of Navy ink and then die-cut with the larger Label die from the same die set, Lovely Arrangements.  The Label was trimmed on the left edge.  Resultant size: (2¼” x ¾”).
• Shape – Leaf Spray: (3½” x 4¼”) Crushed Curry cardstock die-cut with the Leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A few White Moody Palette Glossy Dots, another On-Line Exclusive product, were added for a bit of bling.

A striking color combination for a nice greeting card.
