Oh Joy – Snow

Welcome back!  It is cold in the Upstate and we have a chance of flurries as it is snowing just north of us in the mountains.

With that, today’s card is made with a few challenges in mind: Just Add Ink (#777) Something Seasonal; Inspired By (#371) Snowflakes and Colors; and bringing everything together, the Try a Sketch on Tuesday (#686) Layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock.
• Background Rays: (6” x 6”) Secret Sea / Cloud Cover Arches patterned piece of paper from the Boho Vibes Designer Series Paper pack with one of the Arches fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
• Shapes: Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Basic White cardstock scraps die-cut with various Label dies from the Paper Pumpkin Add-On Dies sets.  Highland Heather – Thanks and Beyond; Balmy Blue – Hugs Abloom; and Basic White – Circle of Seasons.
• Sentiment: Secret Sea cardstock scrap die-cut with the word – Joy die from the Abundant Joy Paper Pumpkin Add-On Dies set.
• Decoration – Snowflakes: Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Basic White cardstock scraps.  The Snowflakes were die-cut with the Snowflake die from the retired Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble a variation of the sketch.  Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the Snowflakes for a bit of bling.
