Welcome back! Already Thursday…where did the week go?
Today I am playing with: Paper Players (#768) for the color selection; Inkspirational (#358) for something shiny and Time Out (#304) for something that glitters; bringing it all together with the current TGIF (#559) sketch.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Misty Moonlight Lace patterned piece of paper from the retired Country Lace Designer Series Paper pack.
- Split Panel: (3” x 4¼”) Night of Navy colored paper from the retired Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper pack cut on the diagonal.
- Underlay Panel: (2⅝” x 3½”) White colored paper from the retired Real Red & White Glimmer Paper pack.
- Focal Panel: (2¾” x 4”) Misty Moonlight cardstock die-cut with the Floral Frame die from the Fragrant Layers Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- The sentiment, Hello, from the coordinating Fragrant Layers stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder on the lower edge of the Frame.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Floral Frame was popped up with Dimensionals.
Glimmer, Glitter and Silvery Shine for a lovely Hello card.
