Design Time: For the Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#545) Sketch. Today’s card can be found on page 17 of the September 2025 – December 2026 Mini Catalog. This is the last one. Next Week – January 2026 – April 2026 Mini Catalog.
CASE: (Copy and Steal Everything) Making it the same; (Copy and Slightly Edit) Almost the same with a little variation; (Copy and Selectively Edit) Changing things. You are welcome to choose how you create.
My design choice was influenced by: Krafty Chicks (#800) for their Masculine Week and I am sharing with Paper Craft Crew (#653) for a Catalog Mini CASE.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Secret Sea Two-Tone cardstock (dark side) dry-embossed with the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product, and then sanded with a Sanding Block (from my Tools stash) to bring out the white core highlights.
- Focal Panel: (2¾” x 4”) Night of Navy Toned Leaf patterned piece of paper from the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper pack, the December 2025 Product of the Month.
- Using the (3”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, the edge was traced along the top of the Panel with a Pencil and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- The Leaf image from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set, from the new Mini Catalog, was stamped with Versamark and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- Sentiment Label: (2¾” x 1¼”) scrap Blue Weathered Wood patterned piece of paper from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper pack.
- The sentiment, To a great guy, also from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (3⅜” x 1”) Stitched Banner die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, and trimmed to (2⅝”).
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. A few Basic White and Secret Sea Moody Palette Glossy Dots, also an On-Line Exclusive product, were added to complete the card.
