Snowflake Sparkle

Welcome back!  I am back…so nice to be in the Studio again.  Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

A quick card for a few challenges:

CAS Colours & Sketches (#575) to choose either or both, a 2025 color and sketch challenge, to create a seasonal card; CAS on Friday (#324) with a Snowflake theme; and Just Add Ink (#776) choosing Snow and Shimmer as my two elements.

Here is the result:

ADD A LITTLE GLITZ – CC&S575 – COS324 – JAI776

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper (retired).
    • The greeting, May your season Sparkle, from the retired Add a Little Glitz stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder.
  • Decoration – Snowflakes: Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Shy Shamrock cardstocks and Mother of Peral Specialty Paper scraps were die-cut with the medium and small Snowflake dies from the retired Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies set and arranged and adhered in a pattern to mimic the Leaf design.

A clean and simple winter card, great for the New Year.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
