You’re So Kind – You Brighten My Day

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday.  Running to meet a deadline…

Back in the Studio…and playing with Creative Colour (#220) and making a Thank you card for Can You Handle The Pressure (#25NOV22).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder, a new On-Line Exclusive product.
• Focal Image – Floral Die-Cut: From the Brighten Your Day Card Kit.
  • Using Sponge Daubers, the ink colors Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock and Smoky Slate were added to the die-cut.
• Sentiment Circle: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You’re So Kind, from The Right Words stamp set was stamped with Smoky Slate ink and then die-cut with the (1¼”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base, and the Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.

I enjoy repurposing components from card kits to create alternative designs and particularly clean and simple designs. How about you?
