Welcome back! We did a little Shop Small Business Saturday damage today. How about you?
Over at Colour INKspirations (#200), they are celebrating their 200th color challenge. I have to say this is the first color challenge I participated in when I made my very first blog post. I went back and checked – (#82) on August 3rd, 2020.
So, this challenge is to choose a favorite Stampin’ Up! color, current or retired. I have so many, but I am particularly fond of the greens. For this card it is the combo of Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.

Today, I chose the very delicately toned Brighten Your Day Kit with pretty watercolor washes and lovely detailed die-cuts but chose to punch up the color.
Here is the result:

Steps:
I cut a Lost Lagoon Watercolor card base in half and trimmed it to (4″ x 5¼”) matching it to a Lost Lagoon cardstock card base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”).
I cut the Fern Die-cut apart into smaller pieces and used an Alcohol based Pretty Peacock ink mix, in a Stampin’ Sptitzer, to color them.
I selected the die-cut Lost Lagoon Greeting and backed it with a Pretty Peacock Washi Tape shaped die-cut from the Inspiring Imperfections Dies set.
What do you think? Turned out rather nicely. Never be afraid to make some changes and to play around with your tools.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda
