Swirled Designs – Friends

A quick little clean and simple card for you this afternoon…

Facebook’s Stampin’ Through the Catalog stamp set choice for today is Swirled Designs, an On-Line Exclusive product, and I paired it up with CAS on Friday (#322) and their Rainbow theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiment, happy we are friends, from the now retired Spring Corners stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the card front.
• Accent Mat: (2⅛” x 2¾”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • The Floral Element was die-cut using the Floral die from the Swirled Designs Dies set from the center of the Mat.
• Panel: (2” x 2⅝”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Swoosh image from the coordinating Swirled Designs stamp set was colored with Stampin’ Write Markers in a Rainbow type pattern.  Colors chosen: Azure Afternoon, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Real Red.
  • The stamp was then misted with water filled Stampin’ Sptitzer and allowed to blur a little before stamping.

Once dry, all elements were adhered to the card base.
