Welcome back! Friday…where did the week go?
Today’s card was influenced by: Festive Friday (#196) and their Veterans Day theme with a pick list; and I chose to CASE Bobby Hagen’s card for Just Us Girls (#799); and to share with Krafty Chicks (#792) for their Anything Goes theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8¼” x 5½” scored at 4⅛”) Basic Beige cardstock.
- Card Front: (4⅛” x 5½”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
- Background Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Mossy Meadow cardstock die-cut with the (3⅞” x 5¼”) Stitched Rectangle die from the Textured Notes Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- Focal Panel: (3¼” x 4¾”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper die-cut with the (3⅛” x 4½”) Stitched Ticket Corner Rectangle die from the Branching Out Dies set.
- The Stem image from the retired Fabulous Florets stamp set was inked with Old Olive ink and misted with water from a water filled Stampin’ Spritzer bottle and then stamped.
- Focal Image – Poppies: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper Scraps.
- The Poppy images, also from the Fabulous Florets stamp set, were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
- The Poppies were then watercolored using the Fine Water Painter Brush and Poppy Parade ink picked up from the Ink Pad Lid.
- When dry, the Poppies were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Sentiment Oval: Mossy Meadow cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Forever loved, forever remembered, from The Right Words stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The sentiment was then die-cut with the (2¼” x 1¼”) Oval die from the retired Framelits Oval Collection Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble Bobby’s layout and, the Poppies were popped up with Dimensionals.
A lovely Remembrance card.

The layered watercolor textures and rich Poppy Parade hues make this card a stunning tribute. I love how the misted stem adds softness and movement, grounding the bold embossed blooms so gracefully. The stitched die cuts and dimensional layout echo Bobby’s inspiration beautifully while still feeling uniquely your own. A heartfelt and elegant remembrance piece.
