Amber Autumn – Thanks

Welcome back!  I just love the Fall…the colors, the temperatures, putting on a Sweater…

I have a nice autumn clean and simple card for you today.

The challenges: Paper Players (#760) CAS with some Foliage; Simply Clean & Simple (#28) add some Pumpkins; Addicted to CAS (#294) Word – Thankful; and sharing with We Love Stamping (#05OCT25) for Anything Autumn.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Timid Tiger cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
  • The Foliage image from the Textured Notes stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped across the top with Basic Beige ink.
  • The sentiment, Thanks, from the Amber Autumn stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
• Cross Strip: (4” x 1¾”) Champagne Foil, Basic Beige and Light Orange Plaid patterned piece of paper from the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Focal Image: (3” x 3”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Pumpkin image, also from the Amber Autumn stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
  • The image was colored with a variety of Watercolor Pencils and smoothed out with a Blender Pen for a soft watercolor effect.  Colors chosen: Pumpkins – Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze; Gourd – Crushed Curry; Leaves – Old Olive and Cajun Craze; Corn – Daffodil Delight; and Stems – Early Espresso.
  • The image was then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Amber Autumn Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Pumpkin image was popped up with Dimensionals and a few pink-toned Low Profile Dots, still available but now on the Last Chance List, were added to finish off the card.

A nice simple Fall thank you card.
