Christmas Tags & More – Merry Days

Design Time: For the Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#533) Sketch.  Today’s card can be found on page 24 of the September 2025 – December 2026 Mini Catalog.

CASE: (Copy and Steal Everything) Making it exactly the same; (Copy and Slightly Edit) Almost the same with a little variation; (Copy and Selectively Edit) Changing things.  You are welcome to choose how you create.

My design choices were influenced by: Stampin’ Up! Only (#386) to CASE page 14 of the Mini Catalog and I opted for a version of the Green Plaid card but more importantly to use the Mix & Match products because they fit so nicely with the Double Trouble (#201) 3-2-1 Challenge choosing three colors, two patterns and one sentiment.

Here is the result:

DECORATIVE TREES – CHRISTMAS TAGS & MORE 0 CT533 – SOUC386 – DT201

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel (4” x 5¼”) Green & White Snowflake patterned piece of paper from the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designers Series Paper pack.
  • Accent Rectangle: (3” x 1”) Real Red cardstock scrap.
  • Accent Mat: (2⅜” x 4⅛”) Garden Green cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (2½” x 4”) Mistletoe Swag patterned piece from the same Paper pack.
  • Sentiment Label: (3½” x ½”) Garden Green cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, May your days be merry, from the Decorative Trees stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • Decoration: Jingle Bells, a Pre-Cut Laser piece from the same Paper pack.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Jingle Bells and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals

Such a nice traditionally colored Holiday card.

  1. The mistletoe DSP is perfect as your focal point and looks so good against the background complementary paper and love the bells embellishment… beautiful Christmas card. Thanks for creating a 3-2-1 recipe to use with the Stampin’ Up sketch and sharing with us at Double Trouble.

  2. Lovely card, Jolanda! I’m not ready for Christmas cards yet 😉 but I need to look at those Mix & Match products after seeing your card because you showed them off beautifully. Thank you for playing along with us at SUO Challenges!
