Autumn Leaves – Thanks

Hi again!  I have some more time to create…so let’s play…

Inspired By (#354) Hello Autumn for colors, metallics and a variation of the sketch.

Additionally, Make My Monday (#261) also an Autumn theme; and Addicted to CAS (#292) for Leaves and Style.

Here is the result:

LEAF DIES – IB354 – MMM261 – ATCAS292

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock dry-embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Nine-Square – Leaves: Gold Foil, Copper Foil (retired but still in my scraps stash), and Naturals White cardstock (again retired, and in my scraps stash).
    • Using the two Leaf dies from the Happy Hibiscus Dies set, still available but on the Last Chance List and the Leaf die from the Amber Autumn Dies set, nine Leaves were die-cut.
  • The word, thanks, from the retired Greetings Thinlits Dies set, was also die cut from Naturals White cardstock.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

A clean and simple autumn card featuring the metallic accents of copper and gold.
