Welcome back! Design Team Time for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#647). Lots of possibilities with this one.

Design influences: Color Dare (#668) for a Red and Yellow pairing; Tic Tac Toe (#279) Top Line – Rectangle(s), Die Cut(s) and Stripes; and sharing with Ellibelle’s Garden Party (#7) for the Floral image chosen.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Darling Duckling cardstock.
- Background Panel: (6” x 6”) Darling Duckling Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2027 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack cut on the diagonal for a rectangle just shy of (3½” x 4¾”).
- Accent Mat: (2⅜” x 3⅞”) Poppy Parade cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (2½” x 4”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (2¼” x 3¾”) Stitched Rectangle die from the Textured Notes Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- Focal Image – Floral Stem: (1¾” x 4”) Poppy Parade and Darling Duckling cardstocks die-cut with the Floral die from the Beautiful Motifs Dies set.
- The Flowers from the Poppy Parade die-cut were trimmed with Paper Snips and adhered over the Darling Duckling Flowers and then adhered to the Basic White Panel which was in turn adhered to the Poppy Parade Accent Mat and the Darling Duckling Background Panel.
- Ribbon Element (1): (5”) retired Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon was wrapped around the Panel and secured with scotch tape.
- Ribbon Element (2): (14”) Basic White Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the Panel, on top of the Sweet Sorbet Ribbon, and tied in a Bow.
- Sentiment Label: Poppy Parade cardstock scrap.
- The greeting, Hello, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The Sentiment was then die-cut with the small Label die from the retired Sending Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment was popped up with Mini Dimensionals.
A sunny fresh floral greeting card.

The combination of Darling Duckling and Poppy Parade is so vibrant and uplifting—perfect for a cheerful hello. I love how the layered floral die cuts add depth, and the ribbon and twine details give it such a polished finish. Beautiful interpretation of the sketch and challenges!
