Peaceful Garden – Thanks

Welcome back!  Friday already…where did the week go?

With the new Fall Mini Catalog that just launched this week, I am exploring some of the products.  I love Autumn and its warm slate of colors but today, the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper was calling out to me.  The predominant colors are Secret Sea and Cloud Cover, a favorite In-Color combination of mine.

Everything started with Just Us Girls (#791) and their Die week.

I am sharing this card with a few Anything Goes challenges: Colorful Options (September); Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (September); and Inkspirational (#349) to add a Tag.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder.
• Window Arch: (3” x 4”) Secret Sea Leafy Floral patterned piece of paper from the Peaceful Gardens Designer Series Paper die-cut with the (2⅝” x 3⅞”) Stitched Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Decoration – Flowers: (3” x 4”) Cloud Cover Ombre patterned piece of paper, the reverse side, from the same paper pack die-cut with the Floral die from the Charming Day Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Sentiment Tag: Cloud Cover cardstock scrap.
  • The greeting, Thanks, from the Amber Autumn stamp set was stamped with Secret Sea ink and die-cut with the (2¼” x 1”) Stitched Arch die, also from the Everyday Arches Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  A few Hues of Blue Flowers were added for a little charm.

I love that this card showcases a nighttime window with moonlight blooms against a textured wall.  A very pretty Thank You card.
