Have A Blast – To Space & Beyond

Over at The Male Room (#201), the theme is Universe and that just seems perfect for a little fellow.

I had a go at creating “punch” art with dies, punches and paper snips to create a Rocket Ship choosing the Color Throwdown (#839) Palette.

And sharing with Krafty Chicks #783) for their Masculine theme and Global Design Project (#511) and their Letters or Numbers theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Secret Sea Splatter patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2027 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack, perfect for a starry universe.
• Sentiment: Tahitian Tide, Basic White and Real Red cardstocks die-cut with the Mini Alphabet Dies and arranged to say, “Have A Blast”.
• Focal Image – Rocket: Basic White, Real Red, and Tahitian Tide cardstock.
  • Rocket Body: Framelits Oval Collections Dies (R).
  • Rocket Nose: (2” x 2”) Square trimmed as necessary.
  • Rocket Wings: Framelits Circle Collections Dies (R).
  • Rocket Tail: Paper Snips.
  • Rocket Window Frame: Circle Punches.
  • Rocket Rudder: Paper Snips.
  • Some details and shadows were added with the Smoky Slate, Tahitian Tide and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.

All elements were adhered to the card base with the Rocket Ship popped up with Dimensionals.

 A fun birthday card for a little guy!
