Welcome back! Happy Saturday.
A few challenges: As You See It (#353) Recipe with a series of ingredients that need to be added to the card along with Color Dare (#662) with Gold & White and I opted to add Black as my plus one color.
I selected the Atlantic Hearts (#640) sketch to bring my ideas all together.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) White and Gold Stripe patterned piece of paper from the retired Silver & Gold Specialty Paper pack.
- Rectangle Panels: (2” x 4⅛”) Basic White cardstock, Black Dot Stripe Vellum from the retired Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Paper pack and Black & Gold Star patterned piece of paper from the retired Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Decoration – Flowers & Leaves: Gold Metallic paper from the retired Gold & Rose Metallic Specialty Paper pack die-cut with the Rose die from the Charming Day Dies set and the Leaf die from the Thankful Garden Dies set, both On-Line Exclusive products.
- Sentiment Banner: Basic Black cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Best Wishes, from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (2⅝” x ½”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. One Rose was popped up with Dimensionals and several Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added. The Rhinestones were colored gold with the retired Dark Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Marker.
A very elegant card suitable for a wedding or anniversary.
