Welcome back! Friday and the start on a brand-new month…
It is always a busy day at the beginning of the month. Updating my Class Schedule, updating my Business Site and making plans for the month.
So, I have a quick card for you today…a nice little birthday card suitable for anyone but leaning to the masculine with its spare design and bold image.
I am sharing this card with Krafty Chicks (#779) for their Anything Goes theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
- Accent Strip: (1¼” x 5½”) Blue and Orange Plaid patterned piece of paper from the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper pack, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- Accent Mat: (3⅝” x 4⅜’) Timid Tiger cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (3½” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, wishing you an amazing day, from the Spring Corners stamp set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- The Birthday Cake image from the Along These Lines stamp set, was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Using a Fine-Tip (.04) Journaling Pen, the two stamped images were linked by free-hand doodling.
That’s it! Adhere all the layers. Quick and cute. Just what I needed after a busy day – a little time to be creative.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
