Scruffy Pooch – A Little Hello

Welcome back!  Monday and a fresh new work week…

Several Masculine themed challenges are about.  So, let’s play!

The Male Room (#200) and CAS on Friday (#314) have selected Animals.

And the others: Moving Along With The Times (#180); Krafty Chicks (#778); and Make My Monday (#257).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
  • I really do not have too many Dog type stamp images that read masculine.  I took a perusal of Pinterest and was inspired to hand draw this Scruffy Little Pooch.
    • Lightly drawn with Pencil, outlined with a Fine-Tipped Sharpie Marker, erased the pencil marks and colored with the Light Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.
    • I forgot that both Stampin’ Blends and Sharpies, while permanent, are alcohol based and there was a bit of blurring happening, so I added defining details with my Fine-Tipped Liquid Gel Pen.
  • The sentiment, A Little Hello with a Lot of Love, from the Fancy Borders stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The little Heart image, from the same stamp set, was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and doodles were added with the Liquid Gel Pen.

He is so darn cute.  A really clean and simple guy card.
