Fancy Borders – A Lot of Love

Welcome back! I am happy to be back.  My vacation is over, and I am popping in with a quick card for a few challenges due today.

The challenges: Facebook’s Color INKspiration (#191) with an exciting color combination and the current Atlantic Hearts (#638) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Berry Burst cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Lemon Lime Twist Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2026 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Strip: (5⅜” x 1⅝”) Berry Burst Bokeh Dotted patterned piece of paper from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper pack.
• Cross Strip: (5⅜” x 1⅜”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Floral Border image from the Fancy Borders stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen:  Large Leaves – Light and Dark Lemon Lime Twist; Small Leaves – Light and Dark Granny Apple Green; Edge Flowers – Light Blackberry Bliss; Center Flowers – Light Berry Burst.
• Sentiment Label: (2⅛” x ¾”) Blackberry Bliss cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, A little hello with a lot of love, also from the Fancy Borders stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.

Keeping the card relatively clean and simple, just stamps, ink and paper so that it is suitable for a fellow if need be.
